school Banyoles celebrates its 10th birthday
The official languages school Banyoles celebrated its
10th birthday in the auditorium in Banyoles, twenty one days ago, at
6:00 p.m. The official languages school is located at 155 Llibertat Street,
Banyoles, and it was inaugurated in September 2005.
Some people talked in the event, among them were:
Albert Bayot director of the educational department in Girona, who, spoke about
new projects and, the introduction of other languages, like Italian; Annie Gil,
the principal of school, spoke about the progress and evolution of the official
language school; Miquel Noguer, the mayor of the town, congratulated and
motivated the teachers of the school; And finally, Sebastià Serrano, professor
at Barcelona university, made a speech called “communication in the third
millennium”.
In the school there are four teachers of English and
two of French. At the moment they have 400 students, and they teach five levels
of English and three of French. The school opens on weekdays from 16:00 to
21:00.
